Some album art work

These are the 2 larger illustrations from the album art I've been working on the last week or two.  They wanted a very specific illustration style that I've done in the past - so here it is.  I've been trying to get away from the comic book style but it's still fun to do from time to time.  These panels are for the booklet.  

Also put up some process images.  I do all of my sketching and "inking" on this type of work in Manga Studio.  I hadn't used that program in a few months before doing these.

Day 47

Not sure when I did this exactly.  I'll say it was late last week maybe(?).

I also tried using my tablet to do some still life drawings/paintings outside with very little success.  It's hard to see the screen in daylight and hard to see my subjects at night.

I had to extend my Deathline break to get one massive job off my plate, which is now basically out of the way.  Time to move forward.  I'll be entering the current Bloodports Challenge and resuming my daily studies.

Day 44-46

You win some and you lose some.  A couple of losses from the weekend and today.

I have some client stuff I may be able to post up soon so that's a positive.

I had to put the Deathline task of at least one study per day aside for a few days to catch up on client work  and deal with another looming situation as well.

So I'm settling into a new routine which involves tighter restrictions on study time so I don't get too carried away.  Which also leaves enough time to actually APPLY the study for a change - be it in redrawing the study from scratch from memory, immediately after finishing it, or just using something specific from the study immediately after in a sketch, personal piece, or client work.
